Syrian stars visit Kurdistan 24, highlight development of Kurdistan Region

A group of well-known Syrian actors visited Kurdistan 24 on Wednesday in their first-ever trip to the Kurdistan region.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – A group of well-known Syrian actors visited Kurdistan 24 on Wednesday in their first-ever trip to the Kurdistan region.

The actors included award-winning Syrian TV host and well-known actor Ayman Zeidan, Ayman Redha, Salma al-Masry, Jenny Esper, Kanda Hanna, Naji Taami, Deema Bayaa, and Hikmat Dawud.

The actors arrived in Kurdistan on Monday. Among them were leading stars from one of the most popular television series in the Arab world, Bab Al-Hara (The Neighborhood’s Gate).

The group expressed its admiration for the level of development achieved by the Kurdistan Region’s media institutions, especially the Kurdistan 24 media outlet and praised the channel’s particular attention to events in Syria.

The actors expressed their desire to produce a joint Arab-Kurdish drama, in a move to strengthen ties between the two ethnicities worldwide.

They also thanked the people of Kurdistan for their kind hospitality and applauded Kurdistan’s stability and the region’s continued efforts in that regard.
