PHOTOS: Peshmerga help rescue people from IS
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – Kurdish Peshmerga forces helped rescue Arab people in Makhmour front line, southwest of Erbil, who escaped from the Islamic State (IS) in Mosul. About 200 people were rescued, including men, women and children, who walked for six kilometers (almost four miles), attempting to find a way to escape the extremist group.
