VIDEO: German Foreign Minister arrives in Erbil to meet Kurdistan officials

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – Germany’s Foreign Minister on Wednesday arrived in the Kurdistan Region to meet with the Region’s top officials.

On Wednesday, Sigmar Gabriel, Germany’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, arrived in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

Gabriel was received by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani at the Erbil International Airport.

The German Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with the Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani on Thursday.

He also plans to visit German troops and advisors training Peshmerga forces in the Region.
