KRSC Chancellor: People of Kurdistan will overcome all challenges due to strong will

KRSC Chancellor Masrour Barzani stressed that “the people of Kurdistan will be able to overcome all difficulties and challenges thanks to their solid will and steadfastness.”

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The people of Kurdistan can overcome any challenge because of their strong will, Chancellor of the Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) Masrour Barzani said on Tuesday.

In a statement congratulating the people of Kurdistan on Newroz (Kurdish New Year), Chancellor Barzani said he was confident the Kurds would overcome the difficult situations they are faced with due to their strong will.

“I wish the people of Kurdistan, the families of the martyrs of the righteous, the brave Peshmerga, and employees of the Kurdistan Region a blessed Kurdish New Year,” he said.

“Newroz symbolizes the end of injustice and the pursuit of freedom and a decent life,” the KRSC Chancellor added. “The auspicious day is special for the Kurdish people as it marks the beginning of a new year.”

As the people of the Kurdistan Region and those across the Greater Kurdistan continue to face oppression and hardships, Barzani stressed that “the people of Kurdistan will be able to overcome all difficulties and challenges thanks to their solid will and steadfastness.”

The KRSC Chancellor highlighted the importance of unity “to face all challenges and pursue the legitimate demands of the people of Kurdistan.”

Newroz celebrations usually fall on March 21 every year, which also marks the first day of Spring.

The celebration is considered one of the most important days in Kurdish culture where Kurds across the Region and abroad gather to dance, sing, and light bonfires to symbolize their freedom and hope for a brighter future.
