ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – For some, it is terrifying to get near snakes, let alone share a household with them. But Kaiwan Kamaran, a young man in the Kurdistan Region’s Sulaimani province, has been living with seven snakes for nearly eight years.

The snakes that Kamaran lives with and feeds are non-venomous ones and are all imported from neighboring countries and some from as far as Australia.

Kamaran has previously domesticated other animals at his home.
