Iraq exports over 104 million barrels of crude oil in May
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Iraq exported approximately 105 million barrels of crude oil in May, according to a statement released by the Iraqi Oil Ministry on Thursday.
The latest figures from the Iraqi State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) reveal that the total amount of crude oil exported was precisely 104,130,292 barrels. All exports originated from central and southern Iraq’s oilfields.
For comparison, Iraq's crude oil exports in April totaled 102,386,818 barrels, also facilitated by SOMO for the international market.
The continued robust export figures underscore Iraq's pivotal role in the global oil market, with steady production and distribution from its key oilfields.
