Rawanduz to receive enhanced water supply in phases funded by Soran Administration

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – On Tuesday, Mohammed Qadir, the mayor of Rawanduz, announced that the water supply to several villages in Rawanduz will be upgraded in multiple stages, funded by the development budget of the Soran Independent Administration.

Qadir explained that the first phase of the water supply project has been completed, with subsequent phases planned to follow.

“The water project is funded by the Soran Independent Administration, supervised by the Soran Water Directorate, and implemented by the contractor,” he said.

He further detailed the financial aspects, noting that the first phase of the project will cost over 500 million dinars, while future phases are estimated to exceed one billion dinars. This initiative aims to significantly improve water access for the residents of Rawanduz.
