Sara Allawi Appointed Civil Society Advisor to Iraqi PM

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24)—The Iraqi National Accord (Wifaq) party announces the appointment of its Deputy Secretary-General, Sara Ayad Allawi, as the Prime Minister's advisor on civil society affairs.

In a statement released today, the Iraqi National Accord (Wifaq) party congratulated Ms. Allawi on her new role, expressing confidence that her leadership will uphold the party's principles and serve the Iraqi people.

Ms. Allawi, a prominent political activist and daughter of former Vice President Ayad Allawi, holds a master's degree in international relations. She has been active in the Iraqi National Accord Party, leading its youth wing and serving as the party's Deputy Secretary-General.

Additionally, she heads the Together for Humanitarian Relief organization and advises her father.
