Over 150,000 KRG employees now receiving salaries through 'MyAccount'

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The "MyAccount" project team announced on Sunday, that more than 150,000 public sector employees in the Kurdistan Region received their salaries digitally last week, marking a significant milestone in the region's financial digitalization efforts.

Project Expansion

The team reported that participation in the program is growing monthly, with both the number of account holders and ATM locations increasing across the Kurdistan Region.

The project aims to provide all public sector employees with personal bank accounts by next year.

Registration Process

The project team outlined the following steps for enrollment:

1. Required Documents:

   - National ID Card and Information Card, or

   - Civil Status ID, Citizenship Certificate, and Information Card

2. Registration Procedure:

   - Registration takes place at workplace locations

   - Employees will be notified of specific registration dates

   - Project representatives will be available on-site to assist

3. Verification Process:

   - Registration must be verified before next month's salary

   - Enrollment is mandatory for future salary payments

4. Bank Card Distribution:

   - Internationally recognized bank cards will be issued

   - Notification will be sent when cards are ready for pickup

   - ID required for card collection
