Amid attempts to save Middle East from brink, rising tensions noted

Many senior politicians in Iraq including Kurdish leaders, e.g. Hoshyar Zebari issued a related and strongly-worded caution regarding avoiding any hasty intervene to the Israeli-Iran conflict.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Islamic Resistance of Iraq (IRI) announced on Wednesday “in continuation to confront Israel’s attacks and support the Palestinians and Lebanese peoples” they confirmed an attack with drone “on an important point in the northern of Israel” IRF claimed.

According to IRF’s announcement, the resistance continues its operations, and in rising tensions in the Middle-East, Israeli and Iranian retaliation war, the Iraqi resistance has decided to launch their operations.

Last Monday October 21st, 2024, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq, by using a drone, attacked a military checkpoint in northern Israel.

On Sunday October 27th, 2024, Kata’ib Hizbollah issued a threat, describing the Israel’s airstrike on Iran as “a dangerous precedent that Iran has not experienced before.”
