ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdish Diaspora Confederation in Wolfsburg, Germany, convened under the leadership of Shifa Barzani, to address crucial issues pertaining to the preservation of Kurdish language, identity, and culture among the new generation of Kurds in Germany.
Participants engaged in discussions aimed at bolstering the Kurdish lobby in Germany, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in safeguarding Kurdish heritage and fostering a sense of belonging among Kurdish youth.
Farhad Ahme, an activist and Confederation member, highlighted the proactive stance of the Kurdish diaspora in Germany, despite the challenges posed by statelessness. Ahme, a 19-year-old with Kurdish-German heritage, expressed his fervent commitment to advancing Kurdish language and identity, underscoring his pride in his Kurdish heritage.
Jano Barazi, a student, articulated his aspiration to study politics and economics in Europe with the aim of contributing to Kurdistan's development in the future. Barazi's message to Kurdish youth resonates with a call to action, urging them to explore avenues through which they can contribute to their homeland's progress.
Responding to Barazi's sentiments, the supervisor of the Kurdistan Diaspora extended an invitation to young individuals eager to serve Kurdistan, emphasizing the open doors awaiting those willing to utilize their talents for the nation's benefit.
Shifa Barzani, head of the Kurdish Diaspora, reiterated the Confederation's commitment to supporting Kurdish youth who aspire to return and contribute to their homeland's politics, economy, and sports. Barzani announced plans to establish a federation of youth and students, encouraging active participation from young Kurds to advance the Kurdish cause.
