PM Masrour Barzani to lay foundation stones for two parks in Duhok
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani will lay foundation stones for two new parks in Duhok on June 3, enhancing the city's green spaces with Aloka Park (1,575,000 sqm) and Serhildan Park (130,000 sqm).

Erbil (Kurdistan24) – On Monday, June 3, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani will lay the foundation stones for two new parks in the Baroshke neighborhood of Duhok.
These parks, Aloka Park and Serhildan Park, will significantly enhance the urban green space and beautify the cityscape of Duhok. Aloka Park will cover an area of 1,575,000 square meters, while Serhildan Park will span 130,000 square meters.
The cost of both projects will be close to 32 billion Iraqi dinars.
Over the past four years, more than 959 large and small projects have been implemented in Duhok province at a cost of more than 1 trillion 81 billion dinars and distributed "fairly" among the districts.
Of the 959 projects, 485 have been finalized and work on another 423 projects continues. Meanwhile, approval has been issued for the implementation of 51 other service projects in Duhok and they are currently in the tendering phase.
This comes at a time that various infrastructure and significant greening prjects have commenced in the Kurdistan Region.
Following the recommendation and guidance of Prime Minister Barzani, a significant planting and weeding campaign began on Saturday, May 18, along 120 Meter Street in Erbil city.

In other recent developments, Prime Minister Barzani officially inaugurated the long-awaited Ranya Bridge on Monday, May 27, marking a significant milestone for the region.
The bridge is expected to play a crucial role in connecting Pishder, Bitwan, and Marga, significantly benefiting local farmers and bolstering the region's tourism sector.

On May 28, Prime Minister Barzani met with officials from the Soran Independent Administration and laid the foundation stone for four major development projects. These projects include a 40-meter two-sided road connecting the hall of events and the Freedom Martyrs, a city park, a national park, and the Soran gate overpass.
