Anti-drug operation leads to arrest of suspects, seizure of Tramadol pills

Erbil (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Region's Directorate of Combating Drugs announced on Monday, June 3, that three suspects were arrested and 90 kilograms of tramadol were seized in a recent operation.
In the statement, the Directorate emphasized the government's ongoing commitment to combat and eliminate drug trafficking. The operation, started out on May 24, was based on thorough investigations and information collection.
Following an order from the Asayish Investigation Judge, the Directorate's investigation team, in coordination with the Mosul Drug Directorate, successfully apprehended the suspects in a joint operation.
The Directorate reported that the 90 kilograms of tramadol pills were seized in the Zakho Independent Administration. The three suspects are currently detained under the Anti-Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
