French Consul General advocates for increased investment in Kurdistan Region

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - The French Consul General in Erbil Yann Braem has expressed a strong interest in boosting French investment in the Kurdistan Region, highlighting the robust relationship between France and the region.
“The relations between France and the Kurdistan Region are very strong, and we believe that the Kurdistan Region is a very favorable economic environment in all different sectors, including agriculture and other sectors,” said Yann Braem, the French Consul General in Erbil, in an interview with Kurdistan24.
Braem emphasized the presence of several French companies and factories already operating in the Kurdistan Region.
In light of the strong bilateral relations, he noted that both French and Kurdish authorities have agreed to hold a joint forum aimed at increasing investment levels. This initiative is expected to support the Kurdistan Region further through various French capabilities.
