Kurdistan Region, Azerbaijan strengthen bilateral relations

During the meeting, Ambassador Mammadov extended an official invitation for both Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to attend the upcoming COP29 conference in Baku.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Safeen Dizayee, head of the Kurdistan Region's Department of Foreign Relations, met with the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between their two nations.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mammadov extended an official invitation for both Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to attend the upcoming COP29 conference in Baku.

This invitation marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic and cooperative efforts between the Kurdistan Region and Azerbaijan.
