ISIS leader arrested; mass grave uncovered in Fallujah

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a significant breakthrough, Iraqi security forces on Monday apprehended a high-ranking ISIS leader in Fallujah, leading to the discovery of a mass grave in the al-Masaliha cemetery located in the Saqlawa district of Fallujah city. The grave contains the remains of five victims, including members of security agencies.

Al-Hakim highlighted the meticulous operation that led to Hiba's capture, emphasizing the efforts of the security agencies in Fallujah.
The Iraqi National Security Agency announced on Saturday that Abu Hiba, regarded as one of the most dangerous leaders of ISIS, had been taken into custody. The ISIS leader, who was apprehended during a targeted operation, is set to face trial under Article 4 of the Terrorism Law, which carries the death penalty.
The capture of Hiba marks a significant victory in the ongoing fight against ISIS, as authorities continue their efforts to bring terrorists to justice and uncover the full extent of their crimes.
