Mountain Rain Forecast for Kurdistan, Light Showers Possible in Soran
Residents in mountainous areas and Soran are advised to take necessary precautions in anticipation of the rain and cooler weather.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Mountainous regions in Kurdistan can expect rainfall on Sept. 17 and 21, while the Soran Independent Administration may see some light showers, according to meteorological expert Mohammed Kamal.
In an interview with Kurdistan24 on Saturday, Kamal stated that the expected rainfall in the mountainous areas would likely occur on the aforementioned dates. While some precipitation may reach the center of Soran, the amount is anticipated to be minimal.
Kamal also noted that wind speeds may increase and temperatures are expected to drop significantly during this period.
