ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — The Kurdistan Region’s President (KRP) Nechirvan Barzani today conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the Islamic Scholars Union of Kurdistan on its 54th anniversary, commending its enduring role in fostering coexistence and combating extremism.

In a statement released by his office, the Kurdistan Region’s President acknowledged the "significant contributions" made by the Union and religious leaders during both the struggle for freedom and the subsequent period of relative peace.
