Kurdistan Region’s President Nechirvan Barzani was in Soran Independent Administration
In this regard, the Kurdistan Regional Government President reaffirmed his full support to the Soran Independent administration to better serve the region.
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Region’s President Nechirvan Barzani met with Halgurd Sheikh Najib, the Supervisor of Soran Independent Administration and Administrative Unit members, on Monday, in Soran.
In the meeting, the management and services in the administration was discussed, as well as the importance of the geographical position of Soran with its border gates, especially for trade exchanging, economic activities, and tourism.
A briefing was given about the needs of the area in various aspects.
Nechirvan Barzani, while pointing to the facility and opportunities for further development in the region from various sides, congratulated the supervisor, officials of the independent Administrative Unit and Soran independent Administration for the work and services they provided, and also highly evaluated the improvement and developing of the region.
Another focus was made in the meeting regarding the future plans and programs with work and projects in the region.
As well as how to solve the problems, shortcomings, providing needs, ideas and opinions were exchanged.
In this regard, the Kurdistan Regional Government President reaffirmed his full support to the Soran Independent administration to better serve the region.
The expected campaign for the Kurdistan Parliamentary General Elections and preparations for the voting process were another hub of the meeting.
Kurdistan Region’s President Nechirvan Barzani stressed the importance of the elections and asked all parties to conduct a civilized and peaceful campaign.
Several other issues related to the general atmosphere in Soran border, was another element in the meeting.
