PM Barzani meets senior administrative officials of Erbil province
Prime Minister Barzani highlighted the need for transparency and the efficient use of available resources.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Friday, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with the governor and senior administrative officials of Erbil province. In his address, Barzani emphasized the importance of public contentment as a measure of government success.
"The best criterion for us is the satisfaction of the people," Barzani stated. "If people are dissatisfied, no matter what we do or say, it won’t help. On the other hand, if people agree with our efforts, we can consider ourselves successful."
Prime Minister Barzani highlighted the need for transparency and the efficient use of available resources. "If we are unable to use what we have for the benefit of citizens, there is a problem. We need to identify the reasons behind it and correct our mistakes. When resources are lacking, it’s crucial to explain the situation to people. Communication and honesty are key to maintaining trust."
The prime minister also emphasized the value of respectful interactions with citizens. "If you have nothing else to offer, simply speaking to people with a bright demeanor and showing them respect can go a long way. It’s greater than anything else."
Barzani acknowledged the challenges of managing public expectations and stressed the importance of fairness in governance. "People react strongly to perceived injustices," he said. "We cannot treat everyone the same, as life presents different challenges to different people. But what we can and must do is ensure equal opportunities for all. When discrimination occurs, people have a right to be upset."
In his remarks, Barzani urged Erbil’s officials to lead by example and promote an environment where everyone can thrive. "If we work for the good of all, then everyone can enjoy the fruits of their labor. When people live well together, everyone can enjoy a better life."
The meeting underscored Barzani’s commitment to fostering transparency and fairness across the Kurdistan Region.
