KDP’s Vice Presidents to attend election rally in Duhok
KDP President Barzani shared the joys with Kurds in Kurdistan, congratulated Kurdish people on that day, September 25th, congratulated the candidates, encouraged voters to participated on the voting day.
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)’s Vices President, Nechirvan Barzani and Masrour Barzani will attend a public ceremony in Duhok Stadium on Saturday evening.
As a part of voting campaign for KDP List 190, a large rally will be arranged in Duhok on Saturday, in which KDP fans gather to show their support to KDP List 190 in the election.
The September 25th, 2024 was a very exceptional day for Kurds in Kurdistan Region, it joined up 3 great events on one day.
On that specific day, it was the 7th anniversary of Referendum, Start Day of the academic year for schools in the region, as well as the great announcement of the start day of the campaign for voting for the parliamentary general election in the region.

The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) declared that the 6th round of the parliamentary general election will be held on October 20th, 2024.
According to the biometric voting registration, the total number of voters in Kurdistan Region for this election is 2 million 899 thousand and 878 voters, out of it, 2 million 683 thousand 618 are public civilians, 215 thousand 960 are Peshmerga and security forces’ voters.
