Concerns raised regarding 3 districts in Kirkuk province

The Head of the KDP’s faction said “we are concerned about the three districts in Kirkuk, all those three mayors could be given to Arabs, that is not coexistence and fair”

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – In Kirkuk, prior to each council meeting, it was meant to notify all the members regarding the session, but according to the Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)’s faction statement, surprising, it did not happen. 

It was said with a group message, the members were notified on Monday morning, that at noon day, a meeting has been arranged and had the agenda for the meeting. 

“We should have the agenda of the meeting 48 hours before the meeting, but we did not receive anything about it,” Hasan Majid, the Head of the KDP’s faction in Kirkuk provincial council, said in an interview with Kurdistan 24.

“This morning, they uploaded the agenda for the group that the council meeting will be held at 12 o'clock, so we have not been informed, which would vote on the rules, according to the usual procedure” Majid added.

“We question a matter which is regarding the deputy governor appointed for the Turkmen, while they have boycotted him,” a question raised by Mr. Majid “we are concerned that there are three districts in Kirkuk, all those three mayors to be given to Arabs, that is not coexistence and fair” 

The three districts are Dubz, Daquq and Hawija
