Turkish Interior Minister disclosed identities of two attackers on TUSAŞ

On Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, in the afternoon Turkish local time, a number of armed groups attacked the aerospace and defense company TUSAS in Ankara .

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – On Thursday, the Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced through a post on his X platform “one of the attackers on the Aviation and Space Industry Company (TUSAŞ) in the Kahraman Kazan Industrial Zone in Ankara, was a PKK member named Ali Orek and his known name was Rojgar.” 

While stressing on the work which was continuing to identify the other female terrorist, in his second post through X platform disclosed the female's identity too. 

On Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, in the afternoon Turkish local time, a number of armed groups attacked the aerospace and defense company TUSAŞ in Ankara.

After a shootout broke between the group and Turkish security forces, one of the militants blew himself up.

The Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said “five people were killed and 22 others injured in the attack”  

According to the sources, 8 of the 22 people injured in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ facilities in Kahraman Kazan, left the hospital and 14 are receiving treatment.
