Faris Issa, Al-Mashhadani met in Baghdad
It is understood from the announcement the Speaker of the House of Representatives discussed how to improve relations between the establishments of the central and the regional governments.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Faris Issa, the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s representation office to Baghdad, congratulated Mahmoud al-Mashhadani for his appointment as the Speaker at the Iraqi Parliament on Monday.
The common interest between Erbil and Baghdad was discussed in the meeting.
A statement issued by al-Mashhadani's media office "the Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani welcomed the Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government's representation to Baghdad, Faris Issa"
The statement also mentioned "the Head of the Representation congratulated Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashhadani of taking the presidency of the House of Representatives, wishing him the success in his work role and responsibilities."
It is understood from the announcement the Speaker of the House of Representatives discussed how to improve relations between the establishments of the central and the regional governments.
He also emphasized the attempts to overcome previous obstacles, and problems, to obtain an agreement.
It is also understood that to reach settlements and deals according to the legislative and legal frameworks, as well as defining the constitutional rights and responsibilities by the central and regional governments too.
Al-Mashhadani stressed the Council of Representatives will continue to supporting the legal agreements between Baghdad and Kurdistan Region that serves all Iraqis in all areas.
