"Our Unity is Our Victory": Kurdish diaspora gathers in Berlin for strategic planning

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Berlin hosts the second congress of Kurdistan’s Diaspora Confederation Under the theme of “Our Unity is Our Victory”.
Various Kurdish organizations and centers from all parts of Kurdistan are set to participate in the congress.
As Kurdistan24’s correspondent Barzan Hassan reported, Kurdistan’s Diaspora has gathered in Berlin to evaluate and study programs and agendas of the past three years. “The congress will evaluate the work and initiatives undertaken, while also setting the stage for strategic planning for the next three years,” he stated.
New individuals are expected to be appointed to the committees and positions in this congress. The Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation is also expected to adopt a new structure.
Although there are varying statistics about the precise number of Kurdish diasporas in Europe, the estimates by Kurdish organizations and centers reveal the number to be more than three million in European countries alone.
