President Barzani, French Consul General discuss regional stability, highlight Syrian crisis

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — President Masoud Barzani met with the French Consul General in Erbil, Yann Braem, on Thursday in the Pirmam district to discuss critical regional and domestic developments, including the ongoing situation in Syria, according to a statement from Barzani Headquarters.

The discussions centered on efforts to form the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) following the recent parliamentary elections. President Barzani shared details of the KDP’s engagement with other political parties, emphasizing the importance of joint dialogue to expedite the government formation process in accordance with election outcomes.
