ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani hosted a special gathering on Friday evening at the Korek Mountain Resort in the Soran Independent Administration, welcoming numerous diplomatic figures to celebrate the Kurdish New Year, Newroz.
The event was attended by Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, alongside ambassadors, consuls general, diplomats, and envoys representing various countries accredited to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
The celebration served as an opportunity to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Kurdistan and foster stronger ties between the region and the international community. With traditional Newroz festivities symbolizing renewal and hope, the gathering reflected a spirit of unity and cooperation.
