ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani received Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yılmaz and his accompanying delegation on Friday, at the Barzani Headquarters in Salahaddin (Pirmam), to discuss critical developments in the Kurdistan Region and the wider region.
The visiting delegation included Turkey’s Ambassador to Iraq Anil Bora Inan, Consul General in Erbil Irman Topçu, and several senior Turkish diplomats.
According to an official readout from Barzani Headquarters, the meeting addressed the domestic political climate in the Kurdistan Region, including steps toward forming the new Kurdistan Regional Government cabinet, and the status of Erbil-Baghdad relations. The two sides explored ways to bolster cooperation and ensure political continuity amid ongoing regional shifts.
