Kurdistan Region PM Masrour Barzani Receives Head of al-Siyada Alliance
They discussed the overall situation in Iraq and the ongoing preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for November.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Khamis al-Khanjar, Head of the al-Siyada Alliance in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, on Thursday.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the overall situation in Iraq and the ongoing preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for November.
They also reaffirmed the importance of guaranteeing the rights of all communities, respecting the federal system in Iraq, and preserving the constitutional status of the Kurdistan Region. The two sides stressed the need to ensure the disbursement of financial entitlements to the citizens of the Region.
