PMF Fighter Kills 11-Year-old Child in Kirkuk
His body has been sent for forensic examination for legal proceedings.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – An 11-year-old boy named Mohannad Haider was killed by a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) fighter in Kirkuk province on Tuesday.
"My son was wounded by a PMF fighter in the village of Breej near the Fatah checkpoint in southwestern Kirkuk," Mohannad's father said.
He also added, “My son was playing with four friends near the checkpoint when he was shot. He was taken to the hospital but, unfortunately, died there."
His body has been sent for forensic examination for legal proceedings.
According to a reliable source, security forces have opened an investigation into the incident and identified the cause. The PMF fighter, who is from Baghdad's al-Shu'ala neighborhood, has also been arrested.
