ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The United States Embassy in Tel Aviv has announced the closure of its main diplomatic mission in Israel, including both the consular sections in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, citing security concerns amid ongoing regional escalation.

In a statement issued on Monday, the embassy confirmed that the closure applies to all public services and consular operations, with both facilities halting regular functions. The announcement emphasized that, under current conditions, staff members are unable to relocate or provide direct assistance to ensure Israel's continued operations.

Furthermore, the embassy has instructed all personnel and their families to remain in their residences until further notice.

The closure reflects the growing strain in the region as the Israel-Iran conflict intensifies, with diplomatic missions bracing for potential security repercussions.
