Iran Launches New Wave of Missile Attacks on Israeli Cities Amid Escalating Conflict
Iran launches new missile & drone strikes on Israeli cities in 'Operation True Promise3'. Sirens sound nationwide as attacks continue. Iranian Media said two missiles exploded in northern and central Israel.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Islamic Republic of Iran launched a renewed missile assault on Israeli territory early Wednesday, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing confrontation between the two regional powers.
According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the strikes were carried out under the framework of “Operation True Promise 3.” The report confirmed that at least 20 ballistic missiles were launched, targeting multiple cities and regions across Israel.
As missiles flew toward urban centers, Israel’s national broadcast agency reported the sounding of emergency sirens across the country, with authorities urging citizens to immediately take shelter in designated safety zones. Israeli Channels stated that two missiles struck central Israel, although full damage assessments were still underway.
Channel 12 Israel also reported hearing several large explosions in Tel Aviv, suggesting that some of the missiles may have breached air defense systems.
Iman Tajik, spokesperson for Operation True Promise 3, stated in a press briefing that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was executing the operation in a deliberate and multi-phased manner, with planned attacks set to continue from several strategic fronts.
Meanwhile, Iran’s top military commander, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, issued a stark video warning to Israeli civilians, particularly those residing in Tel Aviv and Haifa. “The punishment operation will proceed rapidly,” Mousavi declared, urging residents of what he referred to as “occupied Palestinian territories” to evacuate immediately to preserve their lives.
This latest barrage follows consecutive days of reciprocal strikes between the two countries and represents an intensification in what has already become the most severe direct military confrontation in the region’s recent history
