ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Israeli Air Force launched a series of coordinated strikes on Saturday targeting key Iranian military and intelligence assets, including an intelligence vessel docked at the port of Bandar Abbas and weapons storage sites in southwestern Iran, according to Iranian officials and local media.

Iranian authorities confirmed that “our forces were attacked at the naval base in Bandar Abbas,” adding that the incident involved direct hits on military infrastructure in the area. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but sources noted the port was targeted amid broader Israeli air operations across the country.

Drone Warehouses and Arms Depots Also Targeted

In parallel to the assault on Bandar Abbas, the Israeli military said it was conducting “comprehensive strikes against terrorist and nuclear-related targets.” Among the objectives were drone storage facilities and an arms depot located in southwestern Iran, as part of Israel’s intensified efforts to dismantle Iran’s military logistics network.

The Iranian media also reported that a military base in Qom Province, south of Tehran, was hit by Israeli shelling. According to the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), the base had been previously evacuated. Tasnim News Agency confirmed that one person was injured in the attack.

The strikes mark the ninth consecutive day of military confrontation between Israel and Iran, with both sides escalating operations and trading missile barrages amid warnings of wider regional destabilization.
