ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday characterized Iran’s missile attack on the U.S. military base in Qatar as a “very weak response,” praising the advance warning reportedly given by Tehran that helped prevent casualties.

“Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected and have very effectively countered,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.

Trump also thanked Iran for what he called “early notice,” noting that no U.S. personnel were harmed as a result of the missile strikes.

“I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured,” he stated.

The missile attacks, which also targeted U.S. positions in Iraq, come amid heightened tensions following American strikes on key Iranian nuclear sites.
