Iran's FM Denies Plans for Renewing Nuclear Talks with US
“Some of the speculation regarding renewed negotiations should not be taken seriously,” Araghchi said during an interview on state television.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Thursday dismissed reports suggesting Tehran intends to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States following the recent conflict with Israel.
“Some of the speculation regarding renewed negotiations should not be taken seriously,” Araghchi said during an interview on state television. “I want to clarify that no agreement, arrangement, or even discussion has occurred to initiate new talks. There is currently no plan to begin negotiations.”
His comments come in the wake of a 12-day war between Iran and Israel, which was brought to an end by a U.S.-mediated ceasefire.
The conflict erupted on the morning of June 13 when Israeli warplanes and drones launched a series of strikes on Iranian territory, targeting nuclear facilities and ballistic missile production sites. The attacks resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists.
Iran retaliated the following day by launching hundreds of ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv. While most were intercepted by Israel’s air defense systems, several missiles struck their targets, damaging homes and infrastructure.
