ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani met with Iraq’s National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji on Wednesday to discuss the country’s security challenges and regional developments, according to a statement from the Kurdistan Region Presidency.
During the meeting, both officials emphasized the importance of continued coordination among the Iraqi Army, the Peshmerga forces, and other national security institutions to maintain stability and security across Iraq. They reviewed the evolving security landscape and reaffirmed their shared commitment to combating terrorism and preserving national unity.
