PM Barzani Congratulates Kurdistan Justice Group Head, Urges Kurdish Unity

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani congratulated Ali Bapir on his re-election as President of the Kurdistan Justice Group on Wednesday, using the occasion to issue a call for all Kurdish political forces to unite in defending the constitutional entity of the Kurdistan Region.

In a formal message sent on Wednesday, July 23, the Prime Minister extended his well wishes to Bapir and the party’s new leadership following the successful conclusion of their congress.

“On the occasion of your re-election as President of the Kurdistan Justice Group and the success of your congress, I congratulate you and the new leadership of the Kurdistan Justice Group and wish you success,” Barzani stated in the message.

The message also contained a broader political appeal for solidarity among the region’s political parties to protect the region’s standing.

“I hope that the Kurdistan Justice Group and all Kurdish forces and parties will stand united in defending the rights and demands of the people of Kurdistan and in protecting the constitutional entity of the Kurdistan Region,” the Prime Minister added.
