ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein received National Security Advisor Qassem al-Araji on Saturday to discuss the country’s internal security and regional developments, according to a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on a range of security-related issues, including the recent attacks on oil fields across the Kurdistan Region. Al-Araji briefed the minister on his recent visit to the Kurdistan Region, where he led a specialized investigative delegation tasked with examining the incidents targeting Iraq’s vital energy infrastructure.
