President Barzani Urges Dialogue in Syria, Warns Against Kurd-Arab Conflict
In a meeting with Syrian political figure Mahmoud al-Muslat, President Barzani stressed the need for dialogue to resolve issues in Syria and reiterated that political disagreements must not lead to war between Kurds and Arabs.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani on Saturday stressed that disagreements between political parties must not be allowed to escalate into a war between Kurds and Arabs, a central message delivered during a meeting with Syrian political figure Mahmoud al-Muslat to discuss the latest developments in eastern Syria.
According to a statement released by Barzani Headquarters, the meeting took place on Saturday, in Pirmam.
During the discussion, President Barzani and Mr. al-Muslat exchanged views regarding the political situation and the most recent developments unfolding across the region, with a particular focus on the complex circumstances in eastern Syria.
The statement from Barzani Headquarters indicated that a key point of emphasis during the meeting was the need to encourage the political parties of Syria and the Syrian government to rely on the method of dialogue and mutual acceptance as the primary means to solve problems and overcome existing issues and challenges.
