Kurdish Diaspora Confederation Launches Fourth Online Kurdish Language Course

The program will be held once a week, every Sunday, and will provide instruction in all three major Kurdish dialects—Sorani, Badini, and Kurmanji—delivered by experienced teachers.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdish Diaspora Confederation, in partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Education, has announced the launch of its fourth online Kurdish language course designed for Kurdish children living abroad.

The program will be held once a week, every Sunday, and will provide instruction in all three major Kurdish dialects—Sorani, Badini, and Kurmanji—delivered by experienced teachers.

At the conclusion of the course, students will receive official certificates from the KRG Ministry of Education. According to the Confederation, more than 1,000 Kurdish children in the diaspora have already participated in previous courses and successfully earned certificates.

Highlighting the initiative’s importance, the Confederation stated that preserving the Kurdish language is vital to safeguarding the national identity of the Kurdish people.
