ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) - An Islamic State (IS) member and a former driver of a senior IS leader recently arrested by Kirkuk police forces gave details on the oil trade and the kidnapped Kurdish Yezidi (Ezidi) women.

In the video below, the Kurdistan24 correspondent Soran Kamaran interviews an IS prisoner who claims IS extracts oil from two oil fields in the city of Tikrit, Salahaddin Province and then transfers them to the city of Raqq in Syria to be sold to international clients.

"They [IS] make millions in oil trade," the prisoner told Kurdistan24.

He also mentioned that there are some kidnapped Ezidi women in Hawija that IS senior leaders keep in their houses.

A few months ago, the IS senior leader whom the jihadist prisoner was working for as a driver, was executed by IS for stealing.

The prisoner also explained that the leader was also his stepfather. The leader reportedly forced his driver's mother to marry him and had a child from her.
