Survivors at "fatherless" Kurdistan Region village remember lost loved ones, teach children of Anfal
Most of the children in this village don’t know what Anfal means, but they do know their grandfathers are not alive. On April 14 the Kurdistan Region commemorates the 1988 genocide of the Kurdish people of Iraq at the hands of Saddam Hussein’s forces.
