Iraq military conducts air strikes, arrests six suspected terrorists

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi military on Saturday announced they had conducted seven airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in Salahuddin province and captured six terror suspects in Nineveh province. It also reported the death of a militiaman north of Baghdad.

The air raids struck five ISIS hideouts in the Mutaibija area, east of Salahuddin province, the military said. In a separate operation, members of the security forces detained six suspected ISIS members in rural Nineveh.

One member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF)--a conglomeration of largely Iran-aligned militias--was killed in a suspected improvised explosive device attack in the Jurf al-Sakhar area.
