Kurdistan PM leaves UAE with knowledge of 'stronger partnership between our nations'

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani said on Wednesday that he concluded his official visit to the United Arab Emirates after a two-day visit.

"I leave the UAE with the knowledge of a stronger partnership between our nations," the prime minister wrote in a tweet.

The Prime Minister arrived in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday, during which he met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed and senior officials.

"Discussions focused on strengthening ties between the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the UAE, especially in trade, investment, and human development," according to a statement on the KRG website.

The statement added that Prime Minister Barzani "also emphasized the political process in Iraq and developments in the region, as well as addressing the importance of further cooperation to achieve peace and coexistence in the region."
