Kurdistan Region PM tours 'Qatar Foundation'
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani toured the corridors of the Qatar Foundation, which consists of 50 units in various fields of education, research, and community development.
"First stop in Qatar: Qatar Foundation to see their impact on research, education, and grass-root community initiatives. I’m impressed by QF’s capacity to bridge cultural heritage with modernity," Barzani said in a tweet.

He also pointed out that “our biggest untapped resource is our people — young Kurdistanis. I want to help unlock that.”
The Prime Minister, accompanied by a government delegation, arrived in Doha earlier today at the official invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The Prime Minister will hold a series of meetings with the Emir of Qatar and a number of senior Qatari officials to discuss a number of issues of common concern.
Barzani's media office indicated that the visit aims to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, especially in trade, investment, and energy.
