PM Masrour Barzani receives UN special representative for children and armed conflict

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani met with the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba.

During the meeting PM Masrour Barzani expressed his readiness to cooperate and coordinate and implement joint projects with the United Nations on the protection of children's rights.

In the meeting, the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative briefed the delegation on their work and activities and the purpose of their visit to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

She also praised the efforts, measures and plans of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in the field of protecting children's rights.
