Large fire breaks out in one of Erbil’s bazaars

According to a Kurdistan24 reporter, the fire broke out in the middle of the bazaar and firefighters requested assistance from other teams due to its size.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Tuesday evening, a large fire broke out at the Langa bazaar in Erbil.

According to a Kurdistan24 reporter, the fire broke out in the middle of the bazaar and firefighters requested assistance from other teams due to its size.

The reporter also stated that according to preliminary information, no burns had been reported.

Approximately 10% to 15% of the bazaar has burned as of now, and there is a chance that the fire will spread, according to a Kurdistan24 reporter on the scene. The fire started at 7:23 p.m.

Kurdistan24 reports that to protect the stores and surrounding streets, firemen and civil defense units are working to control the fire and want to open a safe path to reach the source of the fire.

The Langa bazaar in Erbil has undergone contemporary renovations, but tonight it caught fire once more.

The Langa Market in Erbil is situated between two 40 and 100-meter streets. It is home to hundreds of shops where a significant portion of people conduct business.
