Newroz Torches of Liberation campaign preparations are underway

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Newroz Torches of Liberation campaign is being prepared by a group of activists and civil society organizations.  

According to the organizers of the campaign, several Kurdish activists in all parts of Kurdistan are preparing for the campaign.

The organizers of the campaign told Kurdistan24 that a group of activists in all four parts of Kurdistan included a symbol that symbolizes national unity after discussing the situation in Kurdistan and Kurds abroad, as well as the situation of Kurdish society and Newroz's experiences in all parts of Kurdistan.

Torches are a symbol of Kurdish unity and so the campaign decided to name this year's Newroz, Newroz Torches of Liberation.

To receive support for the campaign, the members of the campaign took the second step of contacting all political parties and civil organizations in all parts of Kurdistan and abroad.
