Iraq to host 34th Arab World Summit in 2025, Iraq’s President

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - During the 33rd Arab Summit convened in Manama, Bahrain, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rasheed announced on Thursday that Iraq, under the current cabinet, has launched a service and industrial revolution aimed at attracting more investment to the country.

"We will prevent any attempt to use Iraqi territory against other countries," Rasheed asserted. He also revealed that Iraq will host the 34th Arab World Summit in 2025.

Rasheed condemned Israel's actions in Gaza, describing them as genocide by all measures. He reiterated Iraq's support for the Palestinian people and called for the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

In his speech, Rasheed urged all parties involved in conflicts in Sudan to resolve their differences through dialogue.

Addressing the situation in Lebanon, he assured that Iraq will provide all necessary support to help Lebanon achieve political and economic stability.

Regarding the Yemeni civil war, Rasheed expressed his support for any measures taken by the Yemeni people to restore stability to their country.

Furthermore, the Iraqi president called on the international community to assist countries affected by climate change.
