Karwan Doski, another Duhok resident, urged fellow citizens to keep their city clean, especially when visiting tourist attractions. "Duhok is our home and we must keep it clean together," he said.

The Duhok Municipality and the company responsible for the city's cleaning attribute the successful implementation of their cleanliness plan to strong community cooperation.

The KRG has contracted a cleaning company to maintain Duhok's cleanliness, with plans to renew the contract and continue this collaboration.

Badirkhan Kochar, director of the cleaning company, told Kurdistan 24 that the company's efforts, supported by the citizens, have achieved the "successful plan" established by the Duhok Municipality, maintaining the city's pristine condition.
